Salvatierra – Whiskey Classics – Tasting & Cocktail Class
Welcome to Home Bar Network!
Hi Salvatierra family! Looking forward to meeting you guys for our first in-person class of February! We’ve put together a well-rounded WHISKEY LOVERS CLASS + TASTING covering classic techniques and cocktails plus riffs. We can’t wait to share these with you and your friends! Before we get shakin’, we want to make sure everyone is as prepared as possible to make cocktails on Feb. 6th, so we’ve compiled a shopping list of booze you will need for class. Home Bar Network will provide all the fruit, mixers, bar tools, simple syrups, garnishes, clear ice, etc. We provide everything needed for class except the booze.
First portion of class – We’ll start with a blind tasting of four unique whiskies along with a custom tasting mat and nosing kit which we will use to teach y’all how to properly nose, taste and enjoy each sip of whiskey. Get ready for the jelly bean experiment – our favorite part!
Second portion of class – We’ll dive into classic whiskey cocktails like the Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Whiskey Sour and Boulevardier. We’ll teach all the proper techniques, discuss cocktail history, and you’ll walk away feeling like a total pro, ready to host a cocktail party for all your friends.
