Sour Cherry Creamsicle
Sometimes there are flavors that just go together so well it's a crime not to.
We knew off the bat that Trade Street's Sour Cherry Ginger jam just had to be shaken up with a bit of tangy-yet-smooth vanilla Kefir.
If you're unfamiliar with Kefir, it's a fermented milk drink that's been consumed for centuries in Eastern Europe. Kefir has a great consistency and creaminess but is also thin enough to shake with -- so viola, perfect cocktail ingredient.
Throw in a bit of St. Germain (bartender's ketchup) for some lovely background floral notes to punch up the botanical gin and you've got one refreshingly creamy cocktail. Best of a few different worlds here. Cheers!
